About

500 E-RYT & YACEP
My yoga journey began in 2003, shortly after becoming a mother. While I was initially drawn to the practice for its physical benefits, I quickly discovered its profound ability to support emotional healing and personal growth. This transformation deeply enriched my roles as an educator, mother, and wife.
In both my practice and teaching, I’m dedicated to guiding students toward their most authentic selves—integrating body, mind, spirit, and voice. I believe in yoga’s power to heal and empower, and I strive to hold space for others to explore self-discovery and inner balance.
Students in my classes can expect a thoughtful blend of strength and spirituality. Known for my grounded presence, creative sequencing, and depth of knowledge, I aim to create a supportive environment that invites curiosity and growth. I offer modifications to make my classes inclusive and accessible, and I like to say students can “expect the unexpected” every time they step on the mat.
I earned my foundational 200-hour certification in Ashtanga-Vinyasa from the Center for Yoga under the guidance of Jonny Kest. I went on to complete a 300-hour certification and am currently pursuing a 1008-hour teacher training program with my mentor, Janet Stone. As part of my advanced studies, I’ve joined Janet at festivals and international retreats, including a transformative pilgrimage through Tamil Nadu, India. In spring 2025, I’ll continue that journey with her in Bali. More than anything, I remain a dedicated and grateful student of this lifelong practice.
